I was young and
my brother had
a water fight
for his birthday

I had a broken
arm and the only
water gun I
could use was
taken by
someone selfish

Then I got hit
by a water balloon
in the face
and it didn't
pop

That was when
I first questioned
God's existence.

My Neighbour
used to
babysit me
and my brothers

I saw her recently and
she and her boyfriend
looked beyond
repair

I guess I should've
Expected it because
she was never
a very good babysitter

Humpty Dumpty

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
deciding wether to commit
he had come to realise
his life was pretty shit

No home, no job, no family
and fastly going broke
he would jump off a wall
smash, and break his yolk

Humpty Dumpty thought
when deciding to live or die
that his situation wasn't
quite like yours or mine

For eggs have different problems
and wont live forever
their lifespan only runs
from morning until dinner

So when the media report
Humpty had a great fall
you and I shall know
that's not the case after all

For Humpty and eggs alike
will always jump the most
because all the king's horses and all the king's men
at breakfast have eggs on toast.
